Hello! My name is Lilian Franqui and I’m an 8th grader at Pacific Beach Middle School. I play the violin at the San Diego Youth Symphony, the Interlochen Arts Academy summer camp, and with my amazing chamber group.

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family, playing field hockey, and surfing. I look forward to a great year and working with my cohorts!

Hi! My name is Isabel Kim. I’m a high school freshman and the second violinist in this quartet. Aside from playing violin, I’m an avid reader, writer, and surfer!

Hi, I’m Kate Chasin, I’m 16, and I play the cello! I’ve been playing for almost 8 years, and I’m also the leader of my school marching band.

T’Yara Lesueur

Viola

Greetings, my name is T’Yara Lesueur and I play viola for the quartet. I have been playing viola for about 6 years. I am involved with multiple youth symphonies and partnerships between my school (San Diego School of Creative and Performing Arts) and organizations around San Diego.

I also study with Travis Maril privately and participate in his viola studio class at San Diego State University. My main passion is music; however, I do have appreciation for skating and art.
